A collision having taken place between the Messageries Maritimes Steamer 'Ava', and a Commercial Steamer named the 'Rena', by which the latter was sunk, and many lives lost, the Owners of the latter instituted legal proceedings against the Agents of the former in the Vice Admiralty Court of this Colony.
